Hello All,
We have updated our blog today. Yay!
But first of all, we need to apologise for two reasons – one, it’s been a while that we blogged (more than 10 days). Which is a grave crime in the blogging world. Two, after reading today’s post you might want to go shopping to buy a Kanjeevaram! And now that the weekend is here, there is nothing or no one to stop you!
Oh, and by the way, we know what you would be thinking at the end of this post – The post is about blouses and why exactly would we want to go buy a Kanjeevaram. It’s a fair question but the answer is kind of obvious. Don’t you think the blouse has come a long way from being a second fiddle to the six-yard wonder? Now it’s the talking point. This increased interest in beautiful blouse designs has propelled the simple ravike or blouse from the shadows to the limelight. Unless you have been living under a rock (which we think is not true if you are reading this) or another planet (Again, untrue. As far as we know Space X is planning to send people to Mars somewhere around 2022 – 2023), you must have definitely noticed the rise of the statement blouse. And we are all happy about it, aren’t we?
And so the women these days do not mind buying a saree for the sake of a beautiful blouse! No, seiously!!
Coming to the point, we have seen blouses whose sleeves are either embellished with heavy embroidery or made of Kanjeevaram borders. Looks like brides want the best of the both worlds and so started pairing up their exquisite Kanjeevarams with blouses with elbow length sleeves that are made up of Kanjeevaram border and adorned with intricate embroidery. Sounds interesting, right?
These fusion blouses take gorgeousness to a whole new level. Take a look –

Certainly, these blouses are for the brides who want to make a fashion statement on their wedding day. We just love how both the Kanjeevaram borders and embroidery create dramatic effect. Like we already said, please excuse us, if we are the reason why your heart beat increased.
Get in touch with your designer today and place an order for a stunning blouse to go with your silk saree! Psst…But before that, go get a nice Kanchi Pattu Saree. Because you can never have enough Kanjeevarams, right?!! 😉
