This Dreamy Destination Wedding In Jaipur Is As Regal As It Gets | Aishwarya & Shanthan

Hello Lovelies,

So, how is winter treating you so far? If you ask us, we are loving and hating it at the same time. Is there anything to beat the snugness of the razai or the taste of hot adrak chai on a chilly morning? No, right? But getting up in the morning is a Herculean task, isn’t it? You can’t help but hit the snooze button for the nth time, to stay a few more minutes in the bed, until you find yourself rushing around to get ready as hastily as possible as you’re getting late for work! Is this your experience too? Phew, welcome to the club!

But there is one thing that gets us out of bed every single morning – Weddings!

As clichéd as it sounds, everything about weddings excites us. From the bridal fashion trends to the antique heirloom jewelry and from the wedding venue to the floral decor, there is nothing that doesn’t fascinate us. We can eat, sleep and breathe weddings. But the wedding we are about to publish today is a class apart. The couple and their folks made sure every single detail has been taken care of. The first time we saw these pictures, we thought we were in wedding heaven!

This dreamy destination wedding has been captured by the talented photographer Karan from Karan Soma Photography.

If you have always dreamt of a beautiful destination wedding in Jaipur, with all the grandeur of beautiful palaces, be inspired by Aishwarya and Shanthan’s gorgeous wedding….

This heirloom ‘Naga’ pendant is gifted to the bride by her Mother-In-Law. It’s gorgeous, right?

From the bride Aishwarya Raju…We had the most funny (& clichéd) way of finding each other….. At a friend’s wedding!!

We took our own sweet time to warm up to each other. But once we fell for each other there was no stopping. When it came down to saying “I Do’s” we knew one thing for sure – we wanted it to be an intimate affair with close friends and family. A total party for everyone who came to celebrate with us! We wanted to bypass the Indian tradition of having the wedding at the bride’s place and take everyone away for the festivities. After a lot of back and forth, we decided on Jaipur as the destination.

The concept of a destination wedding sounds romantic until one starts the actual planning! Luckily for us, we had the most amazing team and a super supportive set of family and friends who took all the stress out of it for us!

The local coordination was taken care of by Leisure India Holidays. Himanshu was our superhero and helped us scout for everything from venues to logistics.

When it came to décor, we met Farah and Shagun from The Wedding Factory who came in like knights in shining armour and understood exactly what we wanted and made it happen better than we imagined it! They had every last detail down pat without us having to ask for anything! I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to curate the wedding events. They truly took all the stress out of planning a wedding.

For photography and video’s were covered by The Story Teller Weddings. They took charge since Shanthan and I first met, they shot all our events and we LOVE them!! They brought in Karan Soma Photography and Karan made the whole process so easy. He and the team were practically invisible and were so well versed with the chaos (& the beauty) of a traditional Telugu wedding. They just knew it all and I would suggest them to everyone that is getting married!

Hair and makeup were taken care of by Ruby Bal. I felt and looked fabulous and flawless. She is God sent!!!

Now coming to the parties, Gaurav from The Wedding Bartenders brought it all to life!!! Our wedding planner (Farah) had suggested that if we go along with them, we wouldn’t regret it! Sure, we didn’t!! In fact, we still get inquiries from our wedding guests about them. Trust me, they have the most amazing drinks and they curate specifically for the event! Best Ever!

Obviously, no party is truly a party without music and D J Shashank from Hyderabad, has always been there for us! We counted on him like we always do and danced away to glory till 5 AM!

Overall, everyone had a great time and these souls made it happen for us! Planning a wedding is super stressful. But having people that understand what you want and support you makes it enjoyable. And we had the best of them!

Thank you Aishwarya & Shanthan for sharing your special day with us! Wish you a very happy first wedding anniversary!!

And wish you lots of happiness and many more years of togetherness!!!
